Buried from the Golden Lion Hotel. Was a candidate for Parish Council in 1898 and was elected 7th out of 8 after a poll. In 1901 he was 5th out of 8 and in 1907 8th. Kelly's Directory shows William as a saddler from 1883 to 1906. However he was also described as a beer retailer in 1889.
William married Louisa Barnett on 23 Dec 1869 in Wrington, Bristol. (Louisa Barnett was christened on 10 May 1846 in Wrington, died on 3 Nov 1921 in Wrington and was buried on 7 Nov 1921 in Wrington.)
